Refund Policy


We take great care and pride in the assembly of every lamp we build, and are certain you will enjoy it for years to come! All of our products are inspected and tested prior to shipping to ensure that they function properly, and are free of any damages.

REPAIRS
If at ANY TIME you experience a mechanical or electrical issue with your lamp, resulting from normal usage of the product, please contact us so that we can do our very best to help you fix the problem. Any damages occurring from improper use of the product must be assumed fully by the purchaser.

 

10 DAY REFUND POLICY (for Regular Priced Items)
Our refund policy lasts 10 days, beginning on the day that your item is shipped to you. The average expedited shipping time throughout North America is 5 days, which will allow you approximately 5 days, from the day of receipt of your product, to request a return & refund. If 10 days have gone by since your item was shipped, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund.

 

REFUNDS
If, within 10 days of the original shipping date, you are not fully satisfied with your lamp(s), you may return it (them) to us for a refund of the original purchase price MINUS the cost of the light bulb(s), valued at $10 each (CDN). Light bulbs are considered a non-refundable item. The original costs of shipping are also not eligible for refund, and the costs of returning the lamp(s) to us must be assumed by the purchaser. Returns must use a trackable shipping service, otherwise we can’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item, which is necessary for us in order to issue the refund. Before returning the lamp(s) to us, you must contact us by email at sales@eastvanlight.com to notify us of your intent to return your lamps(s), and the reason for which you are requesting the refund. We must confirm receipt of your notification, and provide you with the return address, prior to your return of the product. If a product is returned WITHOUT prior notification, or if the lamp(s) are not returned in the same condition as they were originally shipped, the refund will NOT be issued. In that event, the purchaser may request that lamp(s) get shipped back to them at their cost.  

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 5 business days. However, it may take longer than that before your refund is officially posted to your credit card.

LIGHT BULBS
We can not offer any guarantee to the performance or longevity of the lightbulb(s) we provide with your lamp(s). The average marketed lifespan of the incandescent lightbulbs we provide is 2000-3000 hours, however, incandescent lightbulbs can burn out anytime, and it is the responsibility of the purchaser to assume the costs of buying replacement lightbulbs for their lamp.

SALE ITEMS
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

EXCHANGES
Sorry, we do not accept exchanges
